THE ROSEWOOD AND GILT DESK AND BOOKCASE
This unusual piece is crafted form the finest rosewood. The design is further enhanced by the 24-carat water-gilded detail and
brasswork featured on both pieces. Known as a 'bureau plat', both sections can be used separately. The bookcase has a hidden cupboard below the bookshelves, which is revealed when parted from the writing table.
The table has a hand coloured leather-writing surface and brushing slide for reading.
