Go forth in spirit

When I’m on holiday I like to take photographs of ordinary things that are familiar but different. In May 2012 I was walking past the Church by the Sea in Bal Harbour, Miami, Florida one evening and noticed their illuminated sign.
I was intrigued by the phrase: “Go forth in spirit and set the world on fire” and as I couldn’t think of any similar signs back home, I took a photograph with my compact camera. The quotation is from Ignatius of Loyola who founded the Society of Jesus (the members are known as “Jesuits”) in 1534.
